TO SHART
The locus classicus of the new word shart is a 2004 film script. I first heard it in this dialogue from the 2004 movie comedy "Along Came Polly" starring Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Two old school buddies meet years after school. The character played by Hoffman is a vulgar professional buffoon, a slob and a failure who glommed one tiny moment of acting fame and then sank into deserved thespian obscurity.
Hoffman character: We gotta go, dude!
Ben Stiller character: Why?
H: It's an emergency!
B: What?
H (whispers): I sharted, dude.
B: What's that?
H: Sharted!
B: Huh?
H: I farted and a little shit came out!
B: You are the most disgusting person I've ever met in my life.

MORE SHART1.
A shart is a small, unintended defecation that occurs when one relaxes the anal sphincter to fart. Shart is a portmanteau word that blends shit and fart. Shart is used both as a noun and a verb. "I sharted at the shindig over the weekend and had to skedaddle back home to reno the undies." In loose slang use, shart also occurs as a transitive verb: "I sharted my pants."
One farts too forcefully so that a small piece of excrement is expelled. It may stick to your underpants or stay lodged, caught—as it were—within the constrictive grip of contracting anal sphincters. Amateur fecologists recommend special caution when forcing flatulence, especially if one has not defecated in the last ten hours.
There is a secondary coinage in which the same form has a different meaning.shit + art = shart
"That humongous bird statue in front of city hall is, like, total shart."
