Here are my 2007 winnowings from the graphic chaff
blown through the stable door this year.
Most subjects are wintery.
But all are pictures I wished to share with you, extracts from the curio cabinet of old
woodcuts, engravings, world-renowned paintings, posters, patent medicine labels,
cartoons, all my own browsings through the iconic shrapnel of an eon.
Some is indeed wounding; some is campy fun, some exquistie design.

I like to think that this fox is looking up
at Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper
to remind our not-very-thoughtful leader
of the immense damage
to the world environmental movement
that his delays, subterfuges and equivocations
have caused both Canada and our world
during his dim, sad reign.
